It is recommended you have an annual habitation check, not only to check the safety and correct operation of your appliances, but also to identify any potential faults that can be rectified to ensure you have no problems on your next adventure.

As an NCC trained technician, I can ensure you that your van will be thoroughly checked and any problems will be raised with you so we can decide the best course of action.

Your habitation will include but not limited to the following:

Gas leakage test and check all appliances are functioning correctly

240v system checked including RCD test and all appliances are functioning correctly
 
12v system checked and all appliances are functioning correctly

Water system is fully checked and all appliances are functioning correctly

Damp Test

General wear and tear inspection including external seals and window/locker door rubbers


Caravan Service - single axle £210 /twin axle £235 

Caravans are recommended to have an annual chassis service as well as a habitation. This will give you peace of mind that your caravan is road worthy and all parts have been checked, cleaned and lubricated where necessary.

So as well as the above habitation, a caravan service will include the following:

Inspection of chassis members and underfloor area

Corner steady function and lubrication

Check and adjust hitch/damper and handbrake, check breakaway cable is operating sufficiently

Wheels and tyres - check condition, tyre age and pressures

Brakes and bearings - hubs removed, cleaned and lubricated, brake shoes inspected and replaced if required

Check towing electrics and road lights
